A study in traditional woodturning has grown into a broad family of useful, sculptural forms. Beginning with the humble coat hanger, the project expanded into cupboard and door handles, bringing warmth, tactility, and quiet character to the objects we touch every day.

Each piece is turned from a single block of wood in one continuous movement, creating a soft, seamless form that feels as considered as it looks. The selection available here brings together our favorite shapes, sizes, and applications, offered in three finishes to suit a range of interiors.

The Coathanger is available in three carefully developed finishes, each with its own subtle texture and natural character. The oiled finish brings out a warm, earthy tone and rich depth. The matte lacquer protects and seals the wood while preserving the grain, feel, and quiet appearance of an unfinished surface. The black lacquer stain creates a refined, deeply saturated finish with added surface protection.
