    Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech

    Regular price $69.00

Published alongside the exhibition Virgil Abloh: “Figures of Speech” at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, this volume extends Abloh’s habit of rethinking the expected.

Developed in close collaboration with Virgil Abloh, the book takes an unconventional three-in-one approach. The first section acts as a catalogue, with Michael Darling mapping Abloh’s cross-disciplinary work, alongside contributions from voices across art, fashion, and architecture, including Taiye Selasi, Lou Stoppard, Michael Rock, Samir Bantal, Rem Koolhaas, and Anja Aronowsky Cronberg.

A second section dives into the archives, assembling over 1,800 previously unpublished images from Abloh’s personal files. These materials trace the references, experiments, and collaborations that shaped his work. The final section operates as an index, linking projects to a system of themes and language developed by Abloh himself, offering a different way to navigate his practice.
